WordPress Downtime & Resilience

What Does WordPress Downtime Cost Your Business?

Estimate revenue exposure, recovery labor, advertising waste, and annual incident cost using your own data. Then calculate how much downtime must be avoided or shortened for Aegisify to break even.

01What could an outage cost?
02What could faster recovery save?
03When could Aegisify break even?
Aegisify ROI Calculation: Results are estimates based on the values you enter. Positive ROI appears only when evidence-backed annual benefit exceeds the annualized plan cost. Aegisify does not guarantee uptime, prevent every incident, or treat every blocked request as avoided downtime.

Build Your WordPress Downtime Scenario

1 Describe the WordPress site

Use revenue exposure for sites where orders or paid services depend directly on WordPress.

2 Estimate site economics
3 Model the incident

Use functional impact to model partial failures such as checkout, forms, APIs, or wp-admin.

4 Review restore readiness
5 Select the Aegisify plan

This calculator models one representative domain and allocates the selected plan cost only across active domains, capped by the plan license. Plan pricing is loaded from the calculator configuration; production should connect it to the canonical Aegisify pricing source.

Connected Response

Map the Result to the Aegisify Suite

01Identify

Audit and Agent surface assets, vulnerabilities, changes, dependencies, routes, logs, and application evidence.

02Prioritize

Risk correlation helps teams focus investigation and remediation on higher-priority findings.

03Reduce Exposure

WAF and Shield apply WordPress application, traffic, administrator, file, and hardening controls.

04Recover

Backup restores files, tables, databases, or the site from an available recovery point.

05Verify

Audit rescans and records remediation evidence; SEO, Sitemap, and Link review public visibility after recovery.

Measured Progress

A 30-, 60-, and 90-Day Resilience Timeline

30Establish the Baseline

Inventory the site, identify priority risks, confirm ownership, and document recovery gaps.

60Reduce Material Risk

Remediate priority findings, tune controls, verify backup jobs, and assign remaining actions.

90Prove Improvement

Rescan, compare evidence, test restoration, and report residual risk with clear next steps.

WordPress Downtime Calculator FAQ

Does this calculator predict a future outage?
No. It models a scenario using values you provide. Results are planning estimates, not forecasts or guarantees.
Why show gross exposure and margin separately?
Revenue exposure and contribution-margin impact describe the same event differently. They should not be added together.
Does every blocked request count as saved downtime?
No. A blocked request is security evidence. It should not be treated automatically as a prevented breach, outage, or saved revenue.
Why can the modeled ROI be negative?
ROI is negative when the evidence-backed annual benefit entered is lower than the annualized plan cost. The calculator shows the remaining downtime reduction or verified savings needed to reach break-even instead of forcing a positive result.
Where are calculations performed?
This page calculates in the browser. Domain names and sensitive incident evidence are not required.

Turn WordPress Risk Into a Measurable Recovery Plan

Use the estimate to discuss downtime exposure, restore readiness, and the operational value of faster detection, investigation, recovery, and verification.

Calculation notice: Estimates exclude unverified reputation multipliers and do not assume every security event would become an outage. Validate pricing, product capabilities, and business assumptions before using results in a purchasing or financial decision.
