How it works: AegisShield strips version meta/generator output and related headers to make automated targeting harder.
How to access / configure:
- WP Admin → AegisShield → Hardening.
- Enable “Hide WordPress version”.
- Save changes.
Recommended setting: Enable on all public sites.
